How to install galvanized steel pipes

First. According to the specific conditions of the diameter and pipeline, select the appropriate connection method

1. Welding: enter the installation at an appropriate time according to the progress of the site. Fix the bracket in advance, draw a sketch according to the actual size, and prefabricate the pipeline, to reduce the number of pipe fittings on the pipeline, and weld dead holes as much as possible. The pipe should be straightened in advance, and the opening should be closed when the installation is interrupted. If the design requires that the casing is added, the casing should be added during the installation process. According to the design and equipment requirements, the interface should be reserved, and the plug should be properly blocked. Pressure work.

2. Threaded connection: the pipe thread is processed by a threading machine. For 1/2″-3/4″ pipes, manual threading can be used. After threading is finished, the nozzle should be cleaned and the nozzle should be kept smooth. The thread breakage should not exceed 10% of the total number of threads. The connection should be firm, there should be no exposed linseed at the root, the exposed thread of the root should not be more than 2-3 buckles, and the exposed part of the thread should have good corrosion protection.

3. Flange connection: flange connection is required for the connection of pipes and valves. Flanges can be divided into flat welding flanges, butt welding flanges, etc. The flanges are selected as finished products. The flange is perpendicular to the centerline of the pipe, and the pipe mouth shall not protrude from the flange sealing surface. The bolts of the fastening flange should be brushed with lubricating oil before use. They should be tightened 2-3 times. The exposed length of the screw should not exceed 1/2 of the diameter of the screw. The nut should be on the same side and the flange gasket should not protrude into the pipe. , There must be no inclined pad and more than two pads in the middle of the flange.

Second. Anti-corrosion: Two layers of silver powder are applied to the outside of the galvanized pipe, and two layers of asphalt are applied to the outside of the galvanized pipe.

Third. Before laying and installing the pipeline, clean up the internal dirt to prevent welding slag and other garbage from falling into the pipeline. The installed pipeline must be wrapped and sealed.

Fourth. After the construction is completed, the entire system should undergo a hydrostatic pressure test. The pressure of the domestic water supply part is 0.6mpa, and the pressure drop within five minutes is not more than 20kpa, which is qualified.
