Industrial Steel Pipeline Cleaning and Purging

The purge and cleaning of the steel pipeline is an indispensable process of the installation process. The purge and cleaning are determined by the steel pipeline and the installation process. The conventional method is:
1. First, use a clean water pump to pump the clean water in the clean pool through the freshwater steel pipeline into the piping system to clean it, and then send compressed air or steam into the pipeline for air purging.
2. When washing with water, use a 1.5Kg hand hammer to hit the dead corners of the pipe welds and the bottom of the pipe, but no pitting or depression on the pipe surface. After flushing the piping system, visually inspect the watercolor and transparency of the outlet, if it is consistent with the watercolor and transparency of the inlet, it is qualified. The piping system that has been flushed and qualified should be restored in time. After the flushing is qualified, drain the water through the valve. Air purges
According to the steel pipeline conditions, close and open the equipment and related valves in the pipeline, generally closing the valve connected to the equipment (large container), and opening the valve in the pipeline to connect the steel pipeline to a system. When air is purged, the flow velocity is not less than 20m/s. When air purging, use a 1.5kg hand hammer to hit the dead corner of the pipe weld and the bottom of the pipe.
Use a white-painted wooden target board at the discharge port to inspect for 5 minutes. No rust, dust, moisture, and other debris on the inner target boards are qualified. If it fails, it should be tested again. The air-purged piping system should be restored in time. Before cleaning and purging, in addition to other requirements in the technical conditions of the drawings, consideration should be given to emptying at high places and recondensing at low places, that is, adding emptying and recondensing interfaces at the highest and lowest points according to the pipeline area to facilitate cleaning. Evacuation and condensation during the purging process and replacement before the device process starts.
