Precautions for handling and storing stainless steel pipe at the construction site

After thin-walled stainless steel pipes are packaged and bundled, they should be stored in a dry and clean environment without corrosive gases to avoid disorderly stacking with other items.

Because the surface of stainless steel is relatively smooth and bright, and it is a metal product, it must be handled with care during storage or transportation, arranged neatly, and protected from collisions with sharp objects. During the transportation process, no throwing, dropping, dragging, pressing, etc. should be performed. Contact with corrosive media or pollutants should be avoided during construction.

Thin-walled stainless steel pipes are all thin-walled. During construction, rough construction should be avoided and no steps should be taken to avoid damage to the pipes.

Protective measures should be taken at the pipe storage site to avoid contact with soil, gravel, iron, etc. to avoid rust.

If the pipe is stained with oil, please wipe it off as soon as possible. Especially the U-shaped interior of the rubber sealing ring at the pipe end and pipe fittings.

When transporting pipe fittings, they should be neatly arranged layer by layer according to classification and boxing and should be firmly fixed. There should be coverings to prevent rain and other contamination.
