Precautions for handling and storing stainless steel pipes at the construction site

After the thin-walled stainless steel pipes are packed and bundled, they should be stored in a dry and clean environment without corrosive gas, and should not be piled up with other items. Because the surface of stainless steel is relatively smooth and bright, and it is also a metal product, it should be handled with care and arranged neatly during storage or transportation, and it cannot be hit by sharp objects. During the handling process, there should be no throwing, dropping, dragging, pressing, etc., and contact with corrosive media or pollutants should be avoided during construction.

Thin-walled stainless steel pipes are thin-walled, so rough construction should be avoided during construction, and they should not be stepped on to avoid damage to the pipes. Protective measures should be taken at the pipe storage site to avoid contact with soil, gravel, iron, etc., and to avoid rust. If the pipe is stained with oil, please wipe it off as soon as possible. Especially inside the U-shaped rubber sealing ring of the pipe end and pipe fittings.

When the pipe fittings are transported, they should be neatly arranged layer by layer according to the classification and boxing and should be fixed firmly. There should be coverings to avoid rain and other pollution.
