Preparation work before connecting plastic-coated steel pipes

The plastic-coated steel pipe is composed of a core layer, a fastening steel strip, an air layer, a heat insulation layer, a reflective layer, a sliding bracket, an outer protective steel pipe, sprayed polyurethane, and entangled fiberglass. It has high strength, is not easily damaged, and can withstand a long time. Due to the characteristics of the large upper load, Bestar Steel Co., Ltd. will introduce to you the preparatory work before connecting plastic-coated steel pipes.

1. A special reamer should be used for plastic-lined pipes to chamfer 1/2 of the thickness of the plastic-lined layer, and the chamfering slope should be 10°-15°.
2. Use a fine file to smooth the metal burrs through the cut pipe port;
3. If the plastic-coated steel coating is intact on the port, it should be chamfered with a sharpener; if the port is damaged, it must be repaired until the coating is intact and has no cracks;
4. Cleaning processing should use cotton waste and brushes to remove oil, water, and metal cutting at the pipe end and inside the pipe.
5. After rolling grooving, the plastic coating on the convex part of the groove will be damaged and must be repaired until the coating surface is smooth and there are no cracks or damaged points;
