Several common anti-corrosion techniques for spiral steel pipe anti-corrosion

Anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes play an important and different role in people’s daily lives. Anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes generally refer to the use of special technology to treat ordinary spiral steel pipes that have been anti-corrosion treated, so that the spiral steel pipes have certain anti-corrosion capabilities. Usually, it is used for waterproofing, rust prevention, acid and alkali resistance, and oxidation resistance.

Spiral steel pipes are often used for fluid transportation and gas transportation. Pipelines often need to be buried underground, launched into water, or constructed overhead. The corrosion-prone characteristics of steel pipes and the construction and application environment of the pipeline determine the construction of spiral steel pipes. If the construction is not in place, it will not only affect the service life of the pipeline, but may even cause catastrophic accidents such as environmental pollution, fires, and explosions.

At present, almost all spiral steel pipe application projects will carry out anti-corrosion technology treatment on the pipeline to ensure the service life of the spiral steel pipe and the safety and environmental protection of the pipeline project. The anti-corrosion performance of the spiral steel pipe will also affect the economy and efficiency of the pipeline project. Maintenance costs.

The anti-corrosion technology of spiral steel pipes has currently formed a very mature anti-corrosion system depending on the use and anti-corrosion technology.

IPN8710 anti-corrosion and epoxy coal pitch anti-corrosion are mainly used for tap water supply and water transmission pipelines. This kind of anti-corrosion generally uses outer epoxy coal pitch anti-corrosion and inner IPN8710 anti-corrosion process. The process flow is simple and the cost is low.

3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes and TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes are commonly used for gas transportation and tap water transportation. These two anti-corrosion methods have high performance and a high degree of process automation, but the cost is generally higher than other anti-corrosion processes.

Plastic-coated steel pipes are currently the most widely used anti-corrosion technology, including water supply and drainage, fire sprinklers, and mining. The pipeline anti-corrosion technology is mature and has very strong anti-corrosion and mechanical properties. With low maintenance costs and long service life, it is gradually recognized and promoted by more and more engineering design units.

A spiral steel pipe is a semi-solid thermal spray plastic that is usually filled with epoxy resin or polyurethane containing flame retardants. It is coated and then heat treated to obtain a new pipe with good oxidation resistance and wear resistance. Because of its convenient construction, simple construction method, easy to master and use, it is a pipe material widely used in my country. For the choice of spiral steel pipe anti-corrosion method, multiple factors such as application field, construction environment, and cost budget need to be considered. The steel pipe can be forged with a pressure vessel as needed at the construction site, but attention needs to be paid to the construction environment, especially the drying treatment of the construction site.
