The difference between the standard specification of spiral steel pipe and precision steel pipe

Spiral steel pipes are mainly used in water supply engineering, the petrochemical industry, the chemical industry, the electric power industry, agricultural irrigation, and urban construction. Spiral steel pipes are 20 key products developed in my country. Spiral steel pipe is used for liquid transportation: water supply and drainage. For gas transportation: gas, steam, liquefied petroleum gas. For structural purposes: such as piling pipes and bridges; pipes for docks, roads, and building structures, etc.

Spiral steel pipe is a spiral seam steel pipe made of strip steel coil as raw material, extruded at regular temperature, and welded by automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding process. The spiral steel pipe feeds the steel strip into the welded pipe unit. After being rolled by multiple rollers, the steel strip is gradually rolled up to form a circular tube billet with an opening gap. Adjust the reduction of the extrusion roller to control the weld seam gap at 1~3mm and make the two ends of the weld joint flush.

The difference between spiral steel pipe and precision steel pipe
Spiral steel pipes can be divided into two categories according to production methods: spiral steel pipes and seamed steel pipes, and seamed steel pipes are referred to as straight seam steel pipes. According to the production method, spiral steel pipes can be divided into hot-rolled seamless pipes, cold-drawn pipes, precision steel pipes, thermal expansion pipes, cold-spinning pipes, and extruded pipes. Spiral steel pipes are made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel and can be divided into hot-rolled and cold-rolled (drawn). The main feature of the spiral steel pipe is that it has no welded seam and can accept greater pressure.

Products can be very rough as cast or cold drawn. Welded steel pipes are divided into furnace-welded pipes, electric resistance welding (resistance welding) pipes, and automatic arc-welded pipes due to their different welding processes. They are divided into two types: straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes because of their different welding methods.

Welded steel pipes are welded by opposite seams or spiral seams from rolled steel plates. In terms of manufacturing methods, they are divided into welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation, spiral seam electric welded steel pipes, direct coil welded steel pipes, electric welded pipes, etc. Spiral steel pipes can be used in various industries such as liquid pressure pipelines and gas pipelines. Welding can be used for water pipes, gas pipes, heating pipes, electrical pipes, etc.

Precision steel pipe is a product that has appeared in recent years, mainly because the inner hole and outer wall have strict tolerances and roughness. Precision steel pipe is a kind of high-precision steel pipe material after cold drawing or hot rolling. Due to the advantages of no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls of fine steel pipes, no leakage under high pressure, high precision, high brightness, no deformation in cold bending, flaring, and no cracks in flattening, it is mainly used to produce pneumatic or hydraulic components, such as cylinders or oil cylinders.
